Can't comment on value as I didn't see or pay the bill. Restaurant was open on Christmas day which was good. Food was very average with an average selection for yum cha. It was noisy which is normal for these types of places. What I did not like was how cramped it was.
Most yum cha places are tight squeezes but this place was much more worse! The level of Service was average. We asked for chili oil and got completely ignored. We asked for some ala carte dishes as we had a vegetarian dining with us and it took so long for the dishes to arrive. We asked for some drinks and was waited on by a woman who was so rude! I can understand you're busy but common on! You're working in a service industry! I will be avoiding this place in future.

Went there with family while we on our Adelaide trip. We didn't make a booking but the manager managed to give us a table on Mother's Day for dinner. The food was yummy and cheap compared to what we get in SYD, the free bottle of wine we got (through our Credit Card Program) was good. The manager in knowing that we are from out of town threw in some fruits for us for dessert for free. The service was good in general, will definitely go back there next time we are in Adelaide.

"Want a bad mood? Go to Ding Hao"
"The food there was average when comparing with the Dao Heung Restaurant across the street. But the atmosphere and service was terrible in Ding Hao. Be prepared you are provided a little square table next to the wall for 5 people, and can only dine for at most 30 minutes before your plates and glasses are collected (even if there's still food on the plates). "
"And when you go there, one tips is to make sure they check your bills with correct items, as I went there twice and they overcounted the amount of dim sums in both cases. "

Four words, BBQ steamed pork buns. This is pretty much the main reason I frequent this restaurant. They also do very good yum cha on weekends. Watch out for dirty table cloths and tea pots, however.
