I ordered a chicken salad and it was basically swimming in a pool of water. The cucumber slices and lettuce pieces were way too big. Staff service was okay but it felt too much like a fast food restaurant than an actual restaurant.

When we first started going to Cafe Primo it was really good, it was in its infancy and the customers were still in a manageable amount, and the food was great. Now you see unhappy waitresses, too many customers, badly cooked food, and tasting worse, we had the Chicken parmigiana and it used to be fantastic but now the chicken is dry, the cheese and ham seem to be a quick splattered on second though, but the salad was crisp lol.

I just visited 'Cafe Primo' that holds its reputation on being an authentic Italian Mediterranean Cafe. I just wanted to say that if I had to pick between Cafe Primo and macdonalds I guess I will be having a 'mchappy meal' the food was dry, tasteless and flavourless but I guess to each his own......

As you'd expect from this type of I assume franchised Italian cafe all the waiting staff are young disinterested teenagers and as such service is mostly very average. The chicken based pizza I had came with dry tasteless pieces of chicken and a dry lumpy at the edge dough base. I couldn't finish it and that is saying something from a perennial mad pizza lover.
The pasta dishes others at our table had were heaped full of pasta and cream but with very little else, and they were lukewarm at best. Ho hum, what else could we have expected from what is primarily a fast food chain? The saving grace for this Primo branch is that the setting is reasonably interesting and well planned out with plenty of large round tables conducive to socialising.
