Great topping but the base is way too thick for me. Also found the pizza really salty (and I love salt). Great service and price. Thinner base and it would be a great pizza.

Multiple parking spaces (20+) make getting close to the front door very easy. The takeaway section is the standard counter/chairs womansday mags type phone-in pizzeria, next door is a much updated old style Italian restaurant area. This review deals only with the takeaways.

The pizzas are terriffic, good enough for me to ignore the 7 or 8 pizza places that are much closer, some within walking distance. As with most places, different base and crust styles are offered, my favourite is thin and crispy as it allows the toppings to show their flavours. You get to be specific about what you want as the staff have no problems catering to your wish list. Spicy variations using chilli, such as a Mexican, will allow you to control how hot it turns out to be.

Bellini's was recommended to me by a work mate years ago, who said "the pizzas are great, forget the garlic bread". At that time, he was spot on as the garlic bread had a distinctly 'soapy' taste. However, that was about 5 years ago or more, and no longer applies. They have been reliably excellent for some years now.

I have tried most items on their menu and have to say that some might be rated as slighty bland, but I like hot and spicy food so you should try something on their menu if it is normally your choice. Cooking time is a reliable 15-20 minutes even when quite busy.

The staff are very courteous, the standard of hygiene high, the preparation areas being spotless. Prices are very reasonable. No-one goes to a takeaway shop expecting haute cuisine and the Michilin 3-stars. You will want your food ready when they promise (plus or minus a few minutes) and tasting good.
