We were a party of 11, table was only set for 10. The food took a long time to come, about an hour and 3/4 from ordering mains and the fish and pastas served 10 minutes after the steaks. Opinions of the food ranged from excellent (mixed grill for two, lamb skewers, rump steak and balmain bug special) ok (scotch fillet) disappointing, these were overcooked or bland (sirloin, calamari, fish) waitress informed us its not her, it's the chefs when we asked how long the food would be.
Only visited the table twice for drinks orders, probably best as we were all starving by 9.45pm. The manager did give a good discount off the total bill but hinted the complaints weren't justified as there weren't many full plates coming back, not surprising as everyone was ravenous by the time it arrived. I'd think about giving it one more go as it was very busy that night and the food has the potential to be very good. Perhaps midweek would be a better time to go when the kitchen is under less pressure.

Was in Adelaide over the weekend and decided to eat at this restaurant with friends. I knew it when it was called Norbertos Argentinian Bar & Grill. Not sure why they decided to drop the Norbertos. I've always liked that name.
Anyway, the food was great. The service staff was great. It's only lost points because it took a while for the food to come. I have braces but thankfully I like my steaks rare or medium rare. It was so tender and juicy. We also had entrees of mushroom and a "medley" of vegetables. A couple of us were going to brave the mixed grill, but then decided against it simply because one liked their meat well done and the other medium rare. I doubt they would have finished it though as the mixed grill is ginormous.
Anyway, everytime I am in Adelaide, I like to go to this restaurant.
