Decor is straight out of a Sherlock holmes or Charles dickens novel. The food is excellent but their wine is the real reason this bar is a must visit. Boasting a collection and staff knowledge that would put most of Melbourne and Sydney wine bars to shame, definitely make this a place to visit.

From the moment the doorman opens the door for you, you know you're in for something special. Walk in and you're transported to a European oasis away from the drunks and strip bars of Hindley St. One of the best places to relax over a glass of wine and conversation in Adelaide.

The food is good for what you pay, but this is more a wine bar not a restaurant. The wine list is one of the most awesome you will find in this city. The cocktail list is basic but what they do make is given the attention to detail and care you will find no where else in Adelaide. Also probably one of the best coffees you will find anywhere in the city. Thoroughly recommended!

As soon as you walk in you know you're at a swanky place. Great chairs. Then you pick up the wine list...the cheapest bottle of wine available is $37 (also the only bottle under $40). Basic cooked snacks are +$15. Ouch. Service was abit casual considering the price bracket. I almost expected a fake English accent. We didn't eat at the restaurant, but next time I win lotto I'll head in.
