Classic Italian food served here. Hearty and delicious pastas. Pizzas were loaded with toppings. Service was efficient. The restaurant can get a bit loud though when busy. A good place for a casual dinner.

Posh Italian food. I loved the scampi linguine that I had here at lunch. Such a wonderful combination of flavours and pasta cooked to perfection. Could have room for dessert if it wasn't for the fact that when we asked for the menus and still hadn't heard back for 15 mins we had run out of time. In summary, good food, poor service. I wouldn't come here when I'm in a rush.

The Good
An excellent lunch featuring some of the best pasta I have ever had in the form of the tagliolini with a rich sugo featuring many, many chucks of spanner crab meat. The offer of a dessert tasting menu when we could not decide on our dessert options was a fantastic service touch.
The Bad
None.
The Meal
House bread with olives and olive oil
Arancini alla Boscaiola - Lightly fried risotto croquettes flavoured with wild mushrooms, black truffle and parmesen
Fiori di Zucchine - Lightly fried zucchini flowers filled with ricotta cheese and pine nuts, served with tomato relish
Tagliolini con Granchio - Fine pasta ribbons with a rich sugo of Queensland spanner crab meat, tomatoes and basil.
Pappardelle con Anitra - Handmade broad pasta ribbons with roasted duck meat, red capsicums, spinach, pinenuts and olive oil.
Dessert tasting platter - semifreddo, Torta di cioccolate, zabaglione, panna cotta amongst others

Having been a regular customer for quite a few years we have seen it deteriorate in terms of quality and service. This evening we had poor service and complained to the the "Senior Staff", Eli, who replied "The owner is Lebanese and he will deal with you". He appeared to be quite Ok with our complaint, but the food was not what was ordered and cold, but we were too intimidated to complain further. Avoid.

The food is always very good. The guy that owns the place (sorry don't know his name) is really helpful and friendly. He always remembers which bottle of wine we like. The pizzas are amazing, I enjoy this restaurant very much.

My partner and I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone and we have no plans to dine at Auge again. Such a shame as the atmosphere and styling of the building were simply beautiful.
The food wasn't memorable. For the most part the meals were bland and lacking presentation. The Agliotti had chewy edges where the pasta had been joined but had not been rolled out to the thickness of the rest of it, as it ought to be. There were bone fragments in the rabbit gnocchi.
The desserts we're plated for too long, the sorbets appeared to have melted to half their original height by the time they reached us. The "tiramisu" (and I use the term loosely) was a peculiar adaptation of what is normally a lovely dessert.
The coffee was outstanding, possible the best coffee I've ever had.
We were not asked at any point if we were enjoying our meals. The service was confusing, several people looking after our table of four. They seemed over staffed and unorganised.
If I had to use one word to describe this venue it would be "complacent".

Delightful tapas and pizza place. Lovely ambience, really comfortable chairs, and delicious food. My only complaint would be that the waitstaff need a bit of prompting, and that $10 for a Knappstein or Vale Ale is a bit rich.

A great daily tapas menu. We shared gnochhi, garfish fillets, a sweet potato pizza, flash fried green beans with chilli and a fennel salad. It was all excellent and reasonably priced. The service was friendly and the setting great. The $15 corkage was the only downside. I can understand a corkage charge but......

Great topping but the base is way too thick for me. Also found the pizza really salty (and I love salt). Great service and price. Thinner base and it would be a great pizza.

Food was outstanding. Service was very poor and when management was approached they informed us that the procedure of having to inquire about our hot drink order after we had finished dessert was typical, when order was placed at the same time.

Having dined at many of Adelaide's good restaurants I approach dining at a 'new one to me' with a little trepidation, suffice to say I have sometimes been very disappointed. Not last week when I visited Puccini's at Parkside however. The restaurant has a simple but elegant and modern feel about it and the buzz of a busy Saturday evening of diners was evident. The menu was, as you would expect for a suburban boutique restaurant, on the small side, but had a good selection spread and gushed quality and Italian 'foody' finesse. The wine list was very extensive and broad-ranging in both variety and price range, and also included some quality Champagnes. Our 3 course meal was eagerly anticipated and it never disappointed. Very good quality, service, and all in all a great night that we will repeat in the future. One of our success stories that we will espouse to our friends and others. Well done Puccini's and keep up the good work!

Awful. I had dinner there last night and they have lost a customer. The food was ok, though about what I could make myself, but the service was So Bad. First I go to the bar to get a drink and I'm greeted by a snooty staff who gives me a look like "and what do you want....you are Really inconveniencing me". No smile, no "Hi" "Hello" all I got was a "yes"? I ordered my glass of wine and receive a very sharp "thats it"? Ok, so drinks are done...obviously she's having a bad day.
Time to order the food, up to the food counter. The lad taking my order cancels my EFT transaction and then walks off leaving me standing there! Sorry, what's going on? Finally he returns and we try again. Ok, anyone can make a mistake, he's having a bad day. The meals came out rather quickly which was great and the food was ok, but we sat there for at least 20 minutes after eating waiting for the table to be cleared, eventually I had to get up and ask.
A lad came and cleared the table, stacking and scraping the dishes at the table, in front of us! He knocks something over and complains "it's one of those days". All the staff in this place seem to be having a bad day when they have to deal with customers, though you can see them joking and mucking around behind the bar etc.
All I can say is "I will not have another bad "going out to dinner" experience by eating there again". From a local, train your staff, people do not pay to eat out to be treated with such disdain by the younger generation. As a good dining experience you fail.

I ordered a chicken salad and it was basically swimming in a pool of water. The cucumber slices and lettuce pieces were way too big. Staff service was okay but it felt too much like a fast food restaurant than an actual restaurant.

Amazing food! I had the rump steak with a balsamic and mint glaze and it was phenomenal. Best steak I've had in years. I would definitely recommend Andres. Only (small) criticism is that it was very noisy in the restaurant and made it hard for my husband and I to hear each other without yelling.

Enjoyed our dinner here but certainly wouldn't rush back. We arrived early at 6:30pm on a Saturday night and were the only ones there. I do find it awkward when you can hear the conversations of the service staff, especially when they swear and carry on about personal things. That ruined the ambiance for me. Service was prompt, food was good but to be honest, for the prices we paid I wish I had just cooked at home. A decent local place, but nothing amazing.

I had breakfast here recently and loved the experience. Their tomato bruschetta was incredibly fresh. I've only had coffees from here previously and they have always been good but now will come here for food as well. It's a good venue for enjoying the outdoors without braving the elements.

What a disappointment. My wife and I ate here for our anniversary and were absolutely underwhelmed. The staff weren't particularly friendly or polite, empty glasses/mugs remained on the table until the end, the wife's coffee had a small hair in it, my entree never arrived and my steak was undercooked. When I told the staff they took the same steak and recooked it to the proper standard and brought it back a lot tougher and with a lot less flavour (minus cutlery).
The evening was topped off with a staff member who made little attempt to apologise for the mishaps and even disputed the validity of my complaints. The whole experience left put a dampener on our special night.
