I don't know if this restaurant has deliberately improved due to the past bad reviews, or if the people who have bad experiences are the only ones who take the time to review restaurants.

We wandered into this Indian as the Argentinian across the street was full, others around were packed out and it smelt pretty tasty. Got seated and greeted by friendly wait staff, think we were served by almost everyone who worked there, so not sure of their system. The papadums platter was really good, then the samosa and sheek kebab was also very good. We then had the nicest lamb rogan josh I have had, melted in the mouth.

The Chicken madras was also very good, quality chicken, could have been a bit spicier. The only complaint I could have is the young waiter kept turning the footy on and putting the volume up which was not what I want to listen to while I eat. But overall the food was really great, just need to streamline their service and lose the fake flowers and tacky table numbers.

Got takeaway from here and loved it. I can't wait to eat in as I hear the experience is great. Their food is beautiful, just what I want and expect from an indian restaurant, and the staff are friendly, and prices good. I would highly recommend the lamb shank dish, it's absolutely divine, and the butter chicken is an extremely tasty staple of our order.

I dined here first with friends. Food was great but unfortunately a live spider crawled out of my partners salad! The staff were very sorry and offered a free meal or drinks but we declined. This incident was handled very well by the staff and it did not stop us from dining here again! I highly recommend the curries (esp the lobster). I love the kitsch decor and the little private dining rooms. We were told that they were going to renovate in the new year. I hope they don't change it too much! I would definitely be dining here again in future! Highly recommend you book in advance.

The food was nice but was luke warm. The service was the worst I have Ever experienced. I booked for 6.30pm for 6 of us and the meals did not arrive until 9pm! When I asked for the senior staff I got blank stares. When I complained and said "If I wanted to eat after 8.30 pm I would have booked for the time". We got no reasoning or excuses and I still do not know who the senior staff is.

The value was bad because to wait that long surely you should be offered a free coke! If there is an error, ownership needs to be taken and try to sort it out. My friends and I will Never be back and we are continuing to tell everyone anyway we can.
