Fantastic service. Made a dish from scratch for one of our children. Couldn't do enough to help us. Food was very fresh and delicious. Would definitely recommend to others.

Great place, I can’t believe how many times I have driven past it and never really noticed. It can be easy to miss but if you are in town for meal with the family, on holiday or just looking for a high quality fresh meal, this is your place.
We actually came here after a friend recommended the Store to my Wife. They did a great job with the kids and they did a good job with a few larger groups we saw that day. We loved their fixed dinner menu that had a fixed price, we will be back to try their all day breakfast next time.

We visited this restaurant on 16/05/2012 a Wednesday it was not very busy, however, being the only westerners dining we were not offered sharing bowls or chopsticks, when we requested the waitress, a person from an adjoining table jumped up(?) and brought us a plate. I told her I would like a bowl and chopsticks, whereas she replied, you have cutlery. I would like chopsticks and a bowl please.
Originally the selected meals were just put on the table, nothing else, Maybe we were not the right ethnic group? the meal was quite adequate once we were provided with eating utensils. I will not go back, prejudice is looming in Woodville.

Posh Italian food. I loved the scampi linguine that I had here at lunch. Such a wonderful combination of flavours and pasta cooked to perfection. Could have room for dessert if it wasn't for the fact that when we asked for the menus and still hadn't heard back for 15 mins we had run out of time. In summary, good food, poor service. I wouldn't come here when I'm in a rush.

If there was ever a restaurant that was stuck in time then this is it. Decor and service are really stuck in history (that is, you need to old money to dine here). It is the first class lounge of the Titanic, feels old and stuffy. Such a shame, because the food here is incredible. Some of the best that I've had in Adelaide. On all occasions that I've been here the mains have always been done well and offer very modern and fresh flavours. (Not everyone is bold enough to serve marinated lamb with a watermelon salad.) The wine list is also excellent.

I don't understand the hype that surrounds this restaurant. We've been keen to try Eros restaurant (not the bar area) for a while after recommendations from a number of friends. But were very disappointed by the experience.
Starting on the service, for a restaurant that charges so much I would expect a higher calibre of staff. Staff were predominantly young school girls who didn't know the menu and also struggled to bring out the correct bill. However, to their credit, they did take things in their stride and were doing their best. This by itself is not detrimental but the food was also terrible.
Serving sizes were too small (given the price) and the dishes were done poorly. The white bait were over done (they were like hollow pieces of batter but somehow still not crisp) and the marinated lamb (serviced with pita bread, tzatziki and hommus) looked this crumbs of overcooked lamb (like someone went to a yiros shop and scrapped the bottom of the tray).
This is really a shame because that dish was presented well. It is a really great idea to allow diners to make mini yiros. The dessert platter was a real mistake. It took over twenty mins to prepare. This was surprising given all of the items on the menu should have been ready (this wasn't souffle). When it came out I could understand why it took so long. Everything was being defrosted. All the desserts were soggy including the Galataboureko.
I'm happy to be corrected. Perhaps they should be soggy. Perhaps the syrup that was poured over everything made them soggy (the desserts were so soggy though, they would have had to be sitting around in syrup for at 20 mins). That still doesn't mean they should be flavourless. The Galataboureko custard defintely lacked flavour. It was like a custard colour gelatinous chunk. The pieces were cut in uneven sizes (so presentation was appalling).
Finally, being on a main road, it probably isn't a good idea for them to leave water glasses on the table, especially not upside down. The glasses collected a lot of dust and sediment.

Wow, this place turns Thai food into "cuisine". The food is beautifully crafted and has an interesting combination of flavours and uses fresh ingredients. The green curry is a favourite of mine. The strange coffee duck dish should be renamed to sugar duck. The syrup is sickly sweet and lacks coffee taste. It's a bit of an expensive option but it does offer an excellent setting.

I don't think of this place as offering authentic Thai (go to Sydney or better still Thailand) but it is a good meal option on Rundle St. Food is good and not too expensive. Much like Rundle Spices but slightly better ambience.

Happy hour on a Sat night? Hence the rating on drinks and value. Not sure who this place is catered for. It plays 90s music but is filled with teens and the token stray middle aged holidayers who are staying at the hotel next door. Too weird.

Who knew that there was such a swanky bar above Rundle Mall? Definitely a place where the beautiful people hang out. The design of the venue is reminiscent of a New York bar. Bar food was quite "gourmet", well as gourmet as you get at a bar. (Roast potatoes instead of chips.) Music was on way too loud. It more of a club than a place to go to for casual drinks.

The Good
An excellent lunch featuring some of the best pasta I have ever had in the form of the tagliolini with a rich sugo featuring many, many chucks of spanner crab meat. The offer of a dessert tasting menu when we could not decide on our dessert options was a fantastic service touch.
The Bad
None.
The Meal
House bread with olives and olive oil
Arancini alla Boscaiola - Lightly fried risotto croquettes flavoured with wild mushrooms, black truffle and parmesen
Fiori di Zucchine - Lightly fried zucchini flowers filled with ricotta cheese and pine nuts, served with tomato relish
Tagliolini con Granchio - Fine pasta ribbons with a rich sugo of Queensland spanner crab meat, tomatoes and basil.
Pappardelle con Anitra - Handmade broad pasta ribbons with roasted duck meat, red capsicums, spinach, pinenuts and olive oil.
Dessert tasting platter - semifreddo, Torta di cioccolate, zabaglione, panna cotta amongst others

I don't know if this restaurant has deliberately improved due to the past bad reviews, or if the people who have bad experiences are the only ones who take the time to review restaurants.
We wandered into this Indian as the Argentinian across the street was full, others around were packed out and it smelt pretty tasty. Got seated and greeted by friendly wait staff, think we were served by almost everyone who worked there, so not sure of their system. The papadums platter was really good, then the samosa and sheek kebab was also very good. We then had the nicest lamb rogan josh I have had, melted in the mouth.
The Chicken madras was also very good, quality chicken, could have been a bit spicier. The only complaint I could have is the young waiter kept turning the footy on and putting the volume up which was not what I want to listen to while I eat. But overall the food was really great, just need to streamline their service and lose the fake flowers and tacky table numbers.

Situated in historical secluded Leigh St is the delightfully French Corner Bistrot. Small and intimate with an over looking Mezzanine, ideal for small functions or parties. Around the walls are interesting French posters, maps and memrobillia.
The decor is simple with white table cloths predominating. We chose snails, untypically pan fried with walnut, bacon, parsley, garlic and butter, on a bed of spinach, Escargots facon chef, stunning!. From the daily special board, we also chose local fresh garlic prawns, succulent. Both accompanied by fresh bread ideal for absorbing the delicious sauces.
Our choice for mains were the duck, cooked two ways, Margret (pan fried) and leg (confit) with mushroom and truffle sauce. Canard deux cuissant sauce champignons et truffes, absolutely delightful. Also available was duck with cherry sauce, which also sounded fabulous. The Barramundi, baked with lemon thyme and butter, was another daily special, mouth watering.
We finished with two perrenial favourites, Cream caramel and delightfully crisp profiteroles, with an ice cream filling and coating of warm chocolate sauce, completing a fabulous French dinner. French trained chef, French waitresses, gives this Bistrot real authenticity.

My partner and I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone and we have no plans to dine at Auge again. Such a shame as the atmosphere and styling of the building were simply beautiful.
The food wasn't memorable. For the most part the meals were bland and lacking presentation. The Agliotti had chewy edges where the pasta had been joined but had not been rolled out to the thickness of the rest of it, as it ought to be. There were bone fragments in the rabbit gnocchi.
The desserts we're plated for too long, the sorbets appeared to have melted to half their original height by the time they reached us. The "tiramisu" (and I use the term loosely) was a peculiar adaptation of what is normally a lovely dessert.
The coffee was outstanding, possible the best coffee I've ever had.
We were not asked at any point if we were enjoying our meals. The service was confusing, several people looking after our table of four. They seemed over staffed and unorganised.
If I had to use one word to describe this venue it would be "complacent".

Delightful tapas and pizza place. Lovely ambience, really comfortable chairs, and delicious food. My only complaint would be that the waitstaff need a bit of prompting, and that $10 for a Knappstein or Vale Ale is a bit rich.

The service was friendly and the setting great. The $15 corkage was the only downside. I can understand a corkage charge but......
